Per Diem Pre-op/PACU Registered Nurse actively participates as an accountable member of the health care team and supervises care by Certified Nurse Assistants, and services of non-licensed personnel.

Job Summary

The post anesthesia care nurse serves as a licensed professional practitioner, providing personalized, comprehensive, responsible, and skilled care through the use of the nursing process. Actively participates as an accountable member of the health care team and supervises care by Certified Nurse Assistants, and services of non-licensed personnel.

Requirements

• Qualified candidates must possess the following requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current New Jersey Registered Nurse License
• Current certification; BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Advanced certification preferred

Aptitude

• Minimum of 2 years experience in recovery room nursing or related critical care field.
• Age specific exposure to pediatrics, adolescent’s adults, and Geriatrics.
• Ambulatory experience preferred
