Professional Statement

Dr. Lippe holds board certification in internal medicine and gastroenterology with the American Board of Medicine. He completed his medical studies at the prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine, after which he completed his residency at Albany Medical Center and a dual fellowship in gastroenterology and nutrition at Winthrop-University Hospital. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the digestive tract and liver, performing colonoscopies, endoscopies, capsule endoscopies, hemorrhoidal banding and liver biopsies.

Dr. Lippe is a clinical assistant professor at New York Medical College, Touro Medical College in New York City, and the Medical College of New Jersey. He is also the Chief of Gastroenterology at Bergen Regional Medical Center, which is New Jersey's largest hospital facility. Dr. Lippe has authored many articles on various areas in gastroenterology and has spent two years in research in viral-mediated diarrhea. He is also the recipient of several awards including Health Tap Top Gastroenterologist in NY Top Doctor Competition, 2013 and Bergen County Top Physician Designation in Gastroenterology (201) Magazine, May 2012.
