Went in for bunion surgery with Dr. Paternina with Foot and Ankle Premier Specialist. From the receptionist to all the nurses involved, everyone was extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Very happy Dr. Paternina chooses HCSC for her surgical procedures. Thank you to all the staff that was part of my experience at HCSC!
Staff was friendly and attentive. Always explained what was going on. Center seems clean and complete.

Dr. Meyer is great and I was awake during my trigger finger release surgery and didn't feel a thing. The nicest part is besides her having a nurse to help her there was a nurse on my side monitoring my vitals that was so sweet and kept my mind off of the surgery and she talked to me the whole time which she didn't have to do because she's hired to monitor my vitals but she was such a lovely woman and that nurse made the time go so quickly. I don't remember her name cause I was too nervous that day but she was the one who was monitoring me and standing on the side where I didn't have to have surgery. Then later on I called with a question cuz when I got home and hurt a little bit and got swollen Jennifer or Jessica...I forgot but she's one of the nurses working for Dr. Meyer called me right back and said to have a little pain is normal and the reason it's swollen is because I ran around and did some shopping after my surgery which you're not really supposed to do. I felt great so my boyfriend took me to Costco and I realized later that I probably should have just rested but after I elevated my hand the pain slowly went away and the next day the swelling was much better. It's healing nicely now and I took the bandages from the Doctor off like I was supposed to last night and I could move my whole hand which is a nice change. The nurses at the surgery center were all so nice pre-op and then just as nice post op and one of the medical assistants even helped me get my clothing on after the surgery.
