Dr. Guterman founded Pediatric Eye Associates of Northern NJ in 1992. His goal was, and continues to be, to create a place for parents to bring their children to receive excellent eye care in a comfortable, non-threatening, fun environment. Eye exams should be fun. Here at PEA our patients often want to stay in the office after their appointments are done.

Dr. Guterman treats children for eye problems ranging from routine vision care when glasses may be necessary to eye muscle issues requiring surgical treatment. He has been in practice for 27 years and is a beloved household name in Bergen County and beyond. Our patients also come from Southern NJ, Upper New York State, NYC, and even Pennsylvania.

All professional services are provided exclusively by Dr. Guterman, from beginning to end. Each child is given as much time as he or she needs because each child is important to us and we strive to provide the best possible care.

Dr. Guterman also treats adults with eye muscle issues and double vision. Usually, these are treated with prisms and/or surgery.
