Professional Statement
Dr. Markovitz completed his medical studies at the State University of New York, Health Science Center at Brooklyn, after which he completed both a residency and chief residency in obstetrics and gynecology at North Shore University Hospital. At graduation, he was recognized for “special excellence in minimally-invasive gynecology” by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. He is proud to offer his patients services in both obstetrics and gynecology and has a special interest in high-risk obstetrics, infertility and minimally-invasive gynecologic procedures during laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and ESSURE.
