Dr. Klafter is a Board Certified Urologist specializing in all aspects of general urology. He received his medical degree from New York Medical College. Dr. Klafter completed his Urology Residency at New York Medical College and New York University Medical Center. He completed urologic oncology training at Roswell Park Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY and Memorial-Sloan Kettering in New York City. Dr. Klafter received the 2005 Gold Doc Award, the Mosby Scholarship Book Award and the Leonard P. Wershub Memorial Prize in Urology. He is the Chief of Urology at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck and was the past Chief of Urology at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. He is also affiliated with Englewood Hospital, Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, Palisades Medical Center, Meadowlands Hospital and St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx.
