Dr. Rosemary Ojo is board-certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and a fellowship-trained Otologist. Dr. Ojo was born in Nigeria and raised in Dallas, Texas. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of North Texas and medical school at the University of Texas Health in San Antonio.
In order to have a diverse clinical experience, she pursued residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Miami Medical Center and Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. It was there that Dr. Ojo learned advanced techniques in the endoscopic management of sinonasal disorders, and trained in one of the busiest cochlear implant programs in America – seeing first-hand the daily gratification of restoring a person’s ability to hear. Afterward, she decided that she wanted to become an expert in hearing surgery, and pursued an additional year of training in otology and skull base surgery at the Ear Research Foundation in Sarasota, FL.
Dr. Ojo has published in journals such as Laryngoscope, Ear Nose & Throat Journal, Current Pediatric Reviews, American Journal of Otolaryngology, International Forum of Allergy and Rhinology. She has also published a chapter in an otology and head & neck atlas textbook.
Dr. Ojo treats adults and children for a wide variety of ear, nose and throat conditions.
