Dr. John completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery from the Albert Einstein Medical Center, one of the busiest trauma centers in Pennsylvania, and a fellowship in adult reconstruction and joint replacement at the Hospital for Special Surgery/Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City.

Dr. Thomas K. John is board certified in orthopedics and a fellowship trained surgeon who specializes in primary, complex, and revision total knee and hip replacement surgery with a special interest in minimally invasive techniques, direct anterior and posterior hip replacement, partial knee replacement, peri-prosthetic fractures, robotic and computer-assisted surgery, and patient-specific surgery. He believes in utilizing an evidence-based approach in creating customized treatment plans for each patient, optimizing the total joint experience. He employs non-operative and advanced surgical options, to treat his patient’s pain, discomfort, and orthopedic disability.
He is no stranger to New Jersey having received a Doctor of Medicine degree from New Jersey Medical School as part of a highly selective combined medical program.
