Dr. Taha was born and raised in New Jersey. Dr. Taha graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree and she obtained her medical degree at St. Matthew’s University in the Cayman Islands. She trained at The University of Illinois during her internship in Internal Medicine and at SUNY Downstate Medical Center during her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Following residency, she completed a fellowship in Musculoskeletal and Interventional Pain Management at Rutgers University/University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Dr. Taha is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Musculoskeletal diagnostic ultrasound. She specializes in musculoskeletal disorders and interventional pain management. Her background in physical medicine and rehabilitation affords her to better diagnose various acute and chronic conditions that contribute to pain. During her fellowship, Dr. Taha gained proficiency in fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided procedures which aim to reduce pain and help restore maximal function and quality of life. With the combination of these two medical disciplines, Dr. Taha is able to develop a specific treatment plan tailored to the needs of her patients.
In her free time, Dr. Taha enjoys cooking, bike riding and playing volleyball. She is an avid traveler and a proud native of New Jersey.
